Lee Middleton was born in Springfield, Ohio to loving parents. Lee was the oldest among three children who lives remained closely entwined. Her family gave her contstant encouragement, as she began to explore and cultivate her many natural talents, her stability and love of her family were her sources of continuing inspiration. Today Lee Middleton Dolls are known world wide. Lee's untimely death in January of 1997 was truly a blow to the Doll World. Today her dolls live on in the many faces in porcelain and her baby like skin vinyl. As a friend of the talented late artist, I have searched for her dolls for collectors who may have missed her beautiful dolls , or may have just discovered them.
